As per the CSM minutes
I find this worrying. I think this needs to be raised as an issue for in a few months.
What do you guys think? How should this be fixed?

Assembly Hall - Recent Summary
Original 1.5 year old thread
I have been saying the very same for as long as I have been on market discussion as well. I had a thread in the assembly hall back from the first CSM, but chose to not raise it due to lack of info. But given this info, I'm more confident that this is a real issue and not just speculation.

I sent an email to Dr. Eyjog asking for that information. I'll let you know once I hear back. |

I posted that idea article just under 3 years ago and it still holds true mostly. Shame the images were removed but they weren't anything special anyway
We discussed interactive mining with CCP if you read the minutes |

13 pages and you all seem to fail, anyone who takes any interest in figures will know you can make them "fit" your point.
The figures produced show only what happened at one point, no further information is there, how many online were producing or running missions, how many ships were being built at that time, Rorqual, Orca had one of these just been introduced then all building slots would be full and every possible buy order/mod would have been snapped up.
To make any sense from the figures further date would be needed at the time it was taken show, had this figure of 40% been when npc's still sold shuttles? was it before the Rorq was introduced as module compession was "the" way to move minerals.
The player base is reported to older therefore worked at some time, some I play with are middle aged, they must have been in meeting where report like this are used which later is show to be completely wrong when the full picture is seen.
OZ and I have talked to CCP about our options to get more data on this issue.
Our intention is to get as much data as possible released. We aren't interested much in data which would have to be NDA covered, simply because the community is such a valuable resource that in order for much progress to happen, it would critical that this data is freely available.
I can't promise anything. But I'm pushing for it. But we will have to wait and see what happens on this issue for now.

Oh, and....bump!
Sorry, they're too busy bringing stuff like this to the table.
I'm sorry. But it's becoming painfully obvious that you are just trolling at this point.
Knock it off already. It makes you look stupid.

Sure, it was trolling, and it's also painfully obvious which one of us can't handle criticism.
I think it's stupid that you want to waste CCPs time with that rather than focus your attention on issues like this.
And if you think this is still trolling, you know where the report button is.
There's a large difference between a post which tries to provoke an answer, and then a post containing criticism.
If you haven't noticed, then we are actually working actively on this issue, at the CSM. We already raised it at the last CSM, however due to the issue being vague without more information, we are holding back till we can make a better case for it.
EDIT: Seems like I forgot to make my point extremely clear. Posting just as you woke up is bad.
The point is that it can't be criticism when you clearly haven't done your homework. Because what you criticize me for is invalid. Thus, it's pure trolling on your part.

For a minute there I had to double click on my clock in the lower right... could have sworn it was the 1st for a second
I for a second thought that maybe Irish Blend was Bj°rn Lomborg. He says a lot of "smart" stuff which has no real meaning at all

Quote: There is no problem here at all, with the 40% that is supposedly worrying LaVista... who was unashamedly using his CSM tag to give it weight without arguments,
You are funny. Now lay off the crack.
If you didn't notice, I have deliberately kept out of this discussion. I simply presented facts. The CSM tag has nothing to do with it, because that's you attributing the fact I had a tag with anything
Quote: while keeping quiet about this during the CSM meting at which he was present and whose minutes he used as "proof" of the 40%. ( <-- this was the TL;DR )
Huh?
If there was one thing that we kept repeating in the meetings we have had thus far, is:
Quote: Mining is just about the most boring thing in eve:
You can ask just about anybody on the CSM, and they will tell you the very same thing.
Now if you would like to stop trying to call me out on something without proper justification, leave alone proof, maybe we could actually discuss this topic.

Sure, today 40% of the minerals come from reprocessed loot. But in the past how much were produced reprocessing NPC sold items?
It's unreasonable to assume that the data is from 2 years back. My guess is that it's collected over the period of a week.
